Play Manifesto

More than 80 per cent of adults want the next Government to have policies that ensure children can play outside, according to a poll commissioned by Play England to launch its Manifesto for Children's Play.

It also found that 30 per cent of adults believe the Conservative partywould do the most to ensure children have more opportunities to playoutside, compared with 27 per cent for Labour and 19 per cent for theLiberal Democrats. Play England is asking all political parties to adoptpledges which include making all residential neighbourhoodschildfriendly, giving all children time and opportunity to playsomewhere safe after school and in the holidays.
