* Just Learning, the UK's third-largest nursery chain, has bought First Steps Day Nursery in Colchester, Essex. First Steps is a purpose-built nursery with 139 childcare places and a wide range of facilities including a soft play room, ball pool area and a vegetable patch. The new nursery will be known as Just Learning Colchester and brings the total number of settings owned by Just Learning to 67. Michael Fallon, the company's managing director, has reassured parents that it is 'not planning any substantial changes'.
