This new piece of equipment is already award-winning and it provides abrilliant way to help young children build up their basic physicaldevelopment. Children learn about movement and improve their motorskills by playing with the city beads.

It is colourful, vibrant and instead of simply beads, children threadand play with a car, a tube train, a helicopter and an aeroplane. Thisholds their attention much longer than normal beads and acts as anintroduction to transport and travel. It even has a raised tiltedplatform to allow easy access for younger children.

One childcare worker said, 'This is a great product as it will keep alldifferent age levels engaged. An exceptional way to make the traditionalbead activity frame a bit more exciting, by having little transportbeads instead. We used it with a different age group each week as theyall enjoyed playing with it so much.'

It also has shapes and shape holes in the structure to add anotherelement of discovery and learning. As another nursery worker said, 'Iliked the multi-functioning element of City Beads because I found thatit can help develop different elements of learning, such as hand-eyeco-ordination, spatial awareness and knowledge and understanding of theworld.

'This is also a product that would allow me to teach a wide variety ofnew information such as road safety, different transport andshapes.'

This is a great take on a classic learning product, providing childrenwith lots of opportunities for development and fun.
