- Easter Parade
Early years settings across the country have been celebrating Easter.Pupils from Forres Sandle Manor Pre-Prep in Fordingbridge, Hampshire,donned homemade Easter bonnets to entertain elderly residents at a carehome. Killinghall and District Playgroup/Pre-School in Harrogate, NorthYorkshire, performed an Easter show for their parents, and pre-prepchildren from Oakwood School in Chichester showcased their talents witha bonnet parade.
Nursery on the Green in Frimley, Surrey, extended its Easter activitiesto the baby room, encouraging children to make marks using wooden eggsdipped in paint (bottom).
- Helping Haiti
Nunu Holmes Chapel Day Nursery in Crewe, Cheshire, had a Hats for Haitiday to raise money for earthquake victims. Nursery manager HayleySinclair said, 'We had lots of fun looking at and wearing all differenttypes - fire hats, cowboy hats, summer hats, even cow hats - and all fora worthy cause.'
