New owner for Nursery World

Nursery World magazine is now under new ownership, following the acquisition of parent company TSL Education by private equity firm Exponent for 235m. The sale by News International also includes the Times Educational Supplement and the Times Higher Education Supplement as well as the company's exhibition business.

Nursery World will be staying at its current address, publishing the leading title for early years education and childcare professionals.

Bernard Gray (pictured), formerly chief executive of business media company CMP Information, will replace James MacManus as chief executive of TSL.

Stuart Wallis is the new chairman. Exponent said there were exciting opportunities 'to develop TSL Education as the pre-eminent source of information for everyone involved in education'.
