After readers spotted Laura in the BBC soap 'EastEnders' reading a copy of Professional Nanny, Elaine MacKay of West Hampstead, London, writes in to say, 'I have been irritated by comments in the Mitchell household. Their nanny Joanne told Peggy Mitchell that getting up during the night with baby Louise was part of the job! Also Peggy told her son's new girlfriend that she and her son Phil brought Louise up together! What about some recognition for the nanny?' Meanwhile, managing director of Top Notch Nannies, Jean Birtles, reports that her agency has had a sudden rush of calls for male nannies after one was featured on the American sitcom 'Friends'. Who needs reality TV, eh?
