Melinda Messenger

(Photograph) - Television presenter and former model Melinda Messenger, singers Carrie and David Grant of BBC TV's 'Fame Academy', Cherie Booth QC and children from Burdett Coutts after-school club in Westminster all gave their support to the official launch of 4Children, formerly the Kids' Clubs Network, at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in London last week. Ms Booth, who has been vice-president of the KCN for the past eight years, said its vision was to 'endeavour to reach out to all families in the country'. 4Children wants to see the creation of children's centres in or around every school that would bring together support for children and young people in the form of childcare, space to play, and places to learn and take part in activities.
