A mother who once enlisted the services of television's Supernanny, Jo Frost, to bring her unruly sons under control has been left homeless after one of the children set the house on fire, said the Daily Mail. The Young family from Essex are living in temporary accommodation after three-year-old Joel apparently started a blaze in the living room with a kitchen cooker lighter. A spokesperson for the Essex Fire Service said, 'Someone is certainly going to be sitting on the naughty step for quite some time.'

Dennis the Menace and his dog Gnasher are back in a new CBBC cartoon,reported the Times. But Dennis no longer gets spanked by his father.Instead, he appears on a Jeremy Kyle-style daytime television show withhis despairing mum for an edition called 'Help, I Can't Control My Son!'and gets packed off to brat camp.

Clare Verity, the nanny from Channel 4's Bringing Up Baby, who advisesparents to make babies sleep in a separate room and avoid cuddling them,has been receiving death threats since her appearance on the programme,said the Daily Record. Daisy Goodwin, producer of Bringing Up Baby said,'The self-righteous childcare fundamentalists of the internet loatheVerity so much that she has been spat at in the street and receiveddeath threats.'
