(Photograph) - Babies are more than welcome in the audience for the award-winning Oily Cart Theatre Company's latest production, 'Jumpin' Beans'. It consists of three separate 30-minute plays - 'Up in the Clouds' for babies and toddlers aged six months to two years, 'Best Nest' for two- to four-year-olds, and 'Made-up Monsters' for children aged four to six. 'Up in the Clouds' takes place in a colourful multi-textured perfumed space complete with live music, and babies, parents and carers are entertained in a heavenly landscape sitting on bean-bag clouds while the three performers, Hop (Ruth Calkin), Skip (Naomi Cortes) and Jump (Patrick Lynch) use puppets, light projection and song to tell the story of Jumping Jackie, who jumps on clouds. The production is touring theatres in England and Scotland, as well as nurseries, playgroups and creches, and has been funded by the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, ELG and the Scottish Arts Council. For dates and venues, contact Oily Cart on 020 8672 6329 or see its website www.oilycart.org.uk. Photograph by Patrick Baldwin
