This idea can be used for a winter card or made bigger for a display. Resources

Dark coloured card silver triangles in various sizes silver marker shredded white ribbon glue

Step by step

* Assemble Jack Frost on the card using a fat triangle for the body, long thin triangles for limbs, a silver marker for fingers and toes and ribbon for hair.

* Talk to the children about positioning. Is Jack Frost jumping, running, kicking etc? Ask them to show you where arms and legs would be when doing so.

* Talk about this imaginary character, how he dances about painting the world with frost and making our hands cold.

* Extend the theme with this song (suggested tune 'Buffalo Girls'): Did Jack Frost nip your nose today, your nose today, your nose today?
