It is time we addressed the bad reputation of paganism. I have known Christians to be offended when reminded of the time when all Britons were pagan until, following an invasion, we had Christianity forced upon us. Nor do they like being reminded that the Easter and Christmas celebrations were placed on the same dates as the outlawed pagan celebrations.
To increase understanding and reduce prejudice, I suggest that we learn about paganism as a topic when the summer solstice is celebrated, just as we do Diwali, Eid and Christmas.
