Dominic Fox has been named as the new chief executive of Kidsactive, which promotes and provides adventurous play for disabled children. He was previously director of the National Homeless Alliance. The charity said it was delighted to have someone of Mr Fox's experience on board at a time when it was looking to widen its development work nationally. The appointment has coincided with an award to Kidsactive by the Department for Education and Skills to promote the development of a nationally-recognised training course and qualification in inclusive play and childcare.
