We have been asked to point out that CfBT does not stand for the Confederation of British Teachers (News, 1 March). The organisation was originally the Centre For British Teachers but is now simply known by its initials. It is involved in many different aspects of education, including administering the Quality Matters scheme. Also, First Steps Day Nursery in Chichester, West Sussex, also runs an after-school club and a holiday club. The after-school club staff also worked towards the quality assurance scheme.
