A bedwetting advisory line was launched earlier this week. The Bedwetting Education line will offer advice to parents and carers of children affected by bedwetting, a problem affecting as many as one in six five-year-olds and one in seven seven-year-olds. Helena Baker, a qualified nurse who runs the helpline, said, 'The important point to remember is that a child's self-esteem will improve once they become dry.' The helpline number in the UK is 0800 085 8189 and 1800 626 008 in Eire.
