EYP Update: Taste of the job

Recruitment is proving healthy for the CWDC's student associate scheme, which enables degree students to gain a 'taster' of specific jobs in the early years sector. These courses are available in the first or second year of a degree course and offer work-based experience during the holidays in early years settings.

Thom Crabbe says, 'We are keen for students who are studying outside the field of early childhood to have a taste of what a job in the sector could be like.'

The six training providers offering these tasters are the universities Edge Hill, Winchester, Northampton, Sheffield Hallam, Portsmouth and Middlesex.
