Editor's view

It was great to meet so many Nursery World readers at the Early Years and Primary Teaching Exhibition in Manchester earlier this month. There were plenty of great products and resources to see and buy, and you can view the action in our feature on pages 22 to 23. What was also noticeable was the insatiable demand of early years practitioners for quality training, with many of the seminars attracting huge numbers of delegates. Our next exhibition will be held at London's Business Design Centre on October 3 to 5 and will feature an extensive list of seminars, including a special management programme, so don't delay in signing up for your ticket. You can find all of the information you need on www.teachingexhibitions.co.uk. And don't forget, the next edition of the invaluable Training Today supplement will be published with Nursery World on 19 June, with comprehensive listings of courses and conferences for the next six months.

Next week, meanwhile, the new Nursery Chains comes free with the magazine, featuring the Top 20 league table of nursery groups and updated directory of details for chains in the UK and Ireland. It will be a bumper issue you can't afford to miss.
