A set of six 'know how' leaflets offering practical guidance on developing extended schools and services has been produced by the Department for Education and Skills. The leaflets draw on the practical experience of schools that are already delivering extended services and feature case studies, top tips and frequently asked questions. The leaflets will be of interest to Sure Start settings, local authorities and voluntary and community sector organisations, as well as schools.
