Children at the Sandcastles Play Group in Haverhill, Suffolk, got in tune with the Philharmonic Orchestra from the Eastern Orchestral Board

(Photograph) - Children at the Sandcastles Play Group in Haverhill, Suffolk, got in tune with members of the Philharmonic Orchestra from the Eastern Orchestral Board. The orchestra toured early years settings doing activity music days as part of their Flights of Fancy music programme, which aims to inspire children and practitioners alike. The musicians included leader Claire Bloor, Luiza Beddoes on saxophone, Jenny Doyne on flute and Liz Drabble on oboe. The magic carpet was commissioned from local textile artists as a starting point for the musical storytelling.
