Children at Clutha Day Nursery in Kinning Park, Glasgow

(Photograph) - Children at Clutha Day Nursery in Kinning Park, Glasgow, learn how to look after their teeth in a scheme by Greater Glasgow NHS to tackle poor oral health in the city. The scheme promotes dental hygiene by encouraging children to cut out sugary snacks and drinks and brush their teeth at least once a day. It has proved so successful in reducing tooth decay rates in under-fives at nurseries that the pilot , which has been running for the past five years, will now be extended to nursery children across Glasgow..
