
We're looking for the best organisations, individuals, initiatives and equipment in the early years education and childcare sector for the Nursery World Awards 2009.
There's a wide range of categories to enter, from Nursery of the Year to Newcomer of the Year.
ORGANISATIONS
Nursery of the Year - for registered settings offering full daycare
Pre-School of the year - for registered settings offering sessional care and education
School Early Years Team of the Year - for EYFS teams in maintained nursery schools and primary schools
Nursery Chain of the Year - for UK nursery groups with three or more settings
Local authority early years team of the year - for any local authority team providing or supporting early years services
INDIVIDUALS
Nursery Manager of the Year - any manager in a full daycare or sessional setting
Early Years Professional of the Year - must have EYP Status
Nursery Practitioner of the Year - any qualified practitioner
Newcomer of the Year - less than one year's experience at closing date
Trainer of the Year - in college, training company or in-house
Childminder of the Year - for registered childminders
INITIATIVES
Working with parents - supporting families to improve chidlren's outcomes
Inclusive Practice - promoting equality of opportunity
Team Development - building a high-quality staff team
Business Development - a new launch or significant expansion
Nursery Food - promoting children's health with high-quality food
EQUIPMENT
Birth to threes - new launch
Birth to threes - tried and tested favourite
Three to fives - new launch
