Four out of five parents do not worry whether their children take enough exercise, according to a survey by the British Heart Foundation. Only a quarter of children do the recommended hour of activity every day, and half of parents said they did more exercise than their children when they were young. The results are on the website www.bhf.org.uk. A study by Barnardo's meanwhile found that children taking healthy lunches to school are bullied by their peers, leading them to choose fast food instead.
