Attitudes to disability

I subscribe to Nursery World and look forward to receiving it each week. It keeps me up to date on all that is happening in the world of childcare and provides wonderful ideas and activities to broaden our horizons and keep children entertained in a fun and educational way. I read with great interest about the new 'Hattie and Friends' books (2 February), aiming to promote a positive attitude towards disability from a young age. Personally I think this is very important, as there is far too much discrimination in our society, which is not good for children.
