A nursery robot

A nursery had received a donation of a large collection of shoe boxes, which it used for building large-scale constructions. The children used a tapered reamer*, under supervision, to make holes in the boxes, and used large plastic bolts from a commercil construction kit to join the boxes and so create a moveable robot, whose movement was controlled by tightening and loosening the bolts movement.
