More than 200 delegates are expected to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Early Education at a conference on 9 and 10 May in Exeter. The charity began life in 1923 as the Nursery School Association, dedicated to high quality early years education. At the conference 80 local schoolchildren will perform a pageant to illustrate historical events from the past eight decades. Professor Mary John of the University of Exeter will give the keynote address and other speakers include Early Education vice-presidents Professor Iram Siraj-Blatchford and Robin Richardson.
