Bratz dolls by Bandi UK were named Girls' Toy of the Year, while the top toy for the boys was Spiderman from Vivid/Playmates. The BATR declared the Pre-school Toy of the Year to be the Leap Pad, an interactive book platform from Leapfrog Toys UK, and the overall Toy of the Year to be Beyblades, the interchangeable spinning tops by Hasbro UK.
