Rosedene Nurseries, a group of settings in Teeside, has embarked on a nursery allotment project to encourage children to be healthy eaters, while learning about the importance of sustainability and the environment.
The team has developed a patch of land in Easterside where they, together with the help of parents, have planted carrots, lettuces, potatoes, green beans, tomatoes and more.
