Children painted the town and themselves red at the their own 'festival of colours' to mark the Hindu spring tradition.
Also called 'Holi', the vividly visual celebration was brought to life at Daisy Chain Nursery in Wigston, Leicester, with the children getting stuck into a week of activities, including smothering themselves in the powder paint they'd made themselves from cornflour and food colouring.
