All schools in Wales are to receive a booklet on sustainable development and global citizenship, published on behalf of the Welsh Assembly Government Advisory Panel on Education for Sustainable Development and the Welsh Assembly Government Working Group on Global Citizenship. Schools minister Jane Davidson said, 'Opportunities for education for sustainable development and global citizenship exist across the national curriculum, as well as in religious education, personal and social education, and other aspects of school life.'
