TTS World of Education Hub

You can download the digital Awards book here

The TTS World of Education Hub has been designed to inspire, engage and inform the next generation of teachers and practitioners. Website visitors have access to a multitude of learning materials, thought-leadership articles, exclusive content, and collaborations with experts from across the globe.

One of the main features of the World of Education is the TTS Talking series. This is a sequence of webinars, podcasts, and interviews hosted by experts across a range of fields. TTS Talking aims to deliver practical insights and guidance to enhance the learning outcomes of children worldwide, exploring trends and challenges across the early years sector and having a positive impact on those working in education by allowing them to connect with like-minded professionals.

Recent TTS Talking projects have included a STEAM webinar led by a global panel of experts including Tim Peake and Marsha Ivins, and an early years webinar on the impact of the pandemic on young children called ‘Little Lockdowners’, hosted by Alistair Bryce-Clegg. Three more TTS Talking campaigns are in the pipeline for later this year.

Social media marketing is integral to the business, and channels reach a global audience with an increasing level of engagement. During the ‘Little Lockdowners’ webinar, over 67 per cent of website traffic came from social media. In total, social media activity related to the webinar achieved 3.1m impressions, 497k engagements, and 21.9k clicks.

Relationships developed via social media have enabled TTS to diversify its digital outputs, from video case studies and downloadable resources to social media competitions. Many relationships with advisors, educational experts, and influencers have come from social media links.

Research initiatives help TTS to understand what resonates with its social media audience and how to provide that in the most convenient way, on the most convenient channels. The group aims to transfer content from the World of Education Hub to social media in different formats, making it more digestible and easily accessible.

As an educational resource supplier, TTS also regularly encourages its online community to share the ways they are using its resources at home or in educational settings to support child development. User-generated content helps generate curiosity and interest in products across social media channels and the website.

In the future, TTS aims to publish lesson ideas, plans, and activity guides on its Hub.

HIGHLY COMMENDED

The Old Forge Day Nursery, Derby

The Old Forge website is brightly coloured and welcoming, reflecting its ethos of creating a home-from-home.

Staff check the most visited pages so they know what parents are looking for and can ensure the website provides that information quickly and clearly. For example, fees are clearly displayed so parents can make an informed decision on registering for a place.

A ‘book a tour’ function is popular with prospective parents and beneficial for the business to make contact with future customers.

Regular and active use of social media allows families to keep up with what is happening in the setting, celebrates staff achievement and also acts as a powerful marketing tool.
