Two playleaders from a pre-school in Aberdeenshire plan to combine the adventure of a lifetime with raising funds to help Scotland's most vulnerable children by walking the Great Wall of China. Jill Sim and Gail Johnston are looking for sponsors to support their trek, organised by the Aberlour Child Care Trust, which works with children affected by poverty, neglect, abuse, discrimination and homelessness. They need to raise at least 4,500 to make the trip, and Nursery World Scotland is making a donation of 150 to help them on their way. Further supporters are urged to phone Jill on 01651 821402 or send a cheque payable to Aberlour Child Care Trust to Rothienorman Pre-school, The Village Hall, Main Street, Rothienorman, Inverurie, Aberdeenshire AB51 8UD.
