Around 3,000 primary school children in London will experience and discover the wonders of the countryside this month at the Countryside Live festival at Waterworks, Leyton on 26 and 27 September.

School children from boroughs including Lewisham, Tower Hamlets andWaltham Forest will be given the chance to experience and learn aboutall aspects of the countryside in the heart of East London.
Managed and hosted by Lee Valley Regional Park, in partnership withnational charity Countryside Learning, the two-day festival is designedto complement the Learning Outside Classroom manifesto.
