- How did you feel about completing your Foundation Degree in EarlyYears?
I felt a great sense of accomplishment but also relieved, as it wasquite intense and at times I found it hard to juggle the degree and mywork. I couldn't have done it without the help and support of theschool, staff, friends and family. The Young in Herts grant fromHertfordshire Council was also a great incentive.
- What did doing the Foundation Degree teach you?
The degree has helped improve my confidence and taught me more of thetheoretical side of things. With my new-found confidence and skills Ihave been able to make changes in the setting, such as developing ouroutdoor area to enhance provision.
- What are your plans for the future?
I am hoping to complete the Honours degree and take on moreresponsibility at my setting, using my new skills to help develop thechildren's learning.
