- How did you feel about being named Early Years Professional of theYear for the North-East?
I was surprised and privileged to win the award. I had a great mentorand thank everyone for their support. The University of Sunderlandnominated me after I completed my EYPS there.
- You recently moved to the UK from the US. Has it been difficultadapting to working in a UK nursery?
In the US I occasionally worked in nurseries. The system is verydifferent in the UK, so it has been a steep learning curve.
- What are your future plans?
