Many childminders have spent months in college doing courses on education, first aid, child protection, basic food hygiene and activities. In my experience, having a qualification alone doesn't make you a good nursery nurse. I know many childminders who are not NNEB-or NVQ-qualified, but put just as much effort into their jobs. After all, if you enjoy your work you will do it well.
