This fantastic trip will give participants the opportunity to visit a range of early years settings, including public kindergartens, private nurseries and an orphanage, talking to Chinese practitioners and children.
The tour is also a holiday, with the chance to see major cultural and historical sites such as the Great Wall of China, the Summer Palace, the Terracotta Warriors, and the Shanghai Bund, and the arts of silk-making and calligraphy. You will sample the best of the local cuisine throughout the visit.
The trip starts in Shanghai, moving on to Suzhou, Beijing, Xian, Guilin, Yangshuo and back to Shanghai - taking in vast cities and rural paddy fields, and travelling by plane, bullet train, boat and bicycle.
Anne O'Connor, early years consultant and Nursery World author, who went on the Easter 2014 Early Years Education in China trip, says, 'This is a fantastci opportunity for the trip of a lifetime.
