GETTING INTO THE OLYMPICS MOOD

Children from Treetops' Hopscotch Nursery in Chester got in the Olympics mood when Margaret McKeegan, an Olympic torch bearer, visited their nursery with the torch. The children had been preparing for the event by making their own torches and holding their own Olympic games.

TORCHBEARER VISIT

Children in the care of registered childminders Emma Blackmore and Kelly Davies from Melksham, Wiltshire, watched the Olympic Torch pass through the village of Southwick, Trowbridge. The children enjoyed waving their flags before having a picnic party to complete the celebration.
