Around two thirds of British mothers have been ignored when needing help to carry a pram or pushchair upstairs in a public place, according to a new survey.
The Populus survey of more than 1,000 parents, commissioned by the Family and Parenting Institute, found that 34 per cent of families feel that a lack of accessibility for prams and pushchairs is the most frustrating element of family outings. Parents also identified job centres as one of the least family-friendly environments and doctors' surgeries as the most family-friendly.
