A child protection organisation has called for anyone acting as Santa Claus this Christmas to be vetted first. Action on Child Exploitation, which aims to educate the public about the problems of child pornography and paedophile activity, has called for seasonal employees to have police checks to reduce the danger of Santas using the opportunity to gain access to children and begin a grooming process that could lead to abuse.
