Disability ruling

Disabled children under the age of three could receive mobility benefits if a court ruling forces the Department of Work and Pensions to review its current position.

A landmark ruling last month granted a judicial review of mobilitybenefits for disabled children under three after Stephen and Wendy Meek,whose son Justin is unable to walk, argued that non-payment of mobilityrights to under-threes contravened his human rights.
