(Photograph) - Daddy Island, a book written by poet Philip Wells (Barefoot Books, 9.99), is to be recreated in a free interactive workshop for children and their dads on Father's Day (Sunday, 16 June). Two-to five-year-olds are invited to take their dads along to Manchester Art Gallery where they will be able to meet Mr Wells and escape to Daddy Island, a safe, magical place. Places must be booked in advance, by calling 0161 235 8888.
