Bramble Nursery School in Southsea, Portsmouth, celebrated the opening of its baby room in January. The maintained nursery school began offering year-round daycare last September and was designated as a children's centre the following month. In an innovative arrangement, Brambles rents the baby room from the infant school next door, while the three- and four-year-olds are based in the main Bramble building.
