Aspatria Community Childcare

A community childcare centre has opened in Aspatria, Cumbria, with help from a Sure Start grant. Aspatria Community Childcare will be run in partnership with Richmond Hill Primary School, and will share the use of the school's nursery class and grounds. The centre offers childcare places for 44 children, with separate rooms for babies and two- to five-year-olds. The centre was established in response to demand from the local population for more flexible and affordable childcare.
