In an ideal world, when you decide to buy a nursery, the perfect one would appear on the market the next day. However, given that that is as unlikely as calorie-free chocolate, buyers need to be active in their search and engage with the brokers they work with.
The average time for a first-time buyer to purchase a nursery is about two to three years, and that can become frustrating, but it is frustrating for us as brokers too. We want to help you find the right setting, but to do that we need a little feedback.
This should start from the first contact. Most buyers will start with an enquiry about one setting, via our own website or an external business brokerage website. At this stage we will ask you to register and agree to our confidentiality terms before we can give you any information. This is a chance for you to introduce yourself and let us know what you are looking for and what help or support you may need. At this stage, a fair percentage of buyers don't register, and that is fine, but some buyers repeatedly ask for information without ever registering, as they don't receive or read the correspondence detailing the next steps. If you find yourself asking for a setting for a second time, reach out to us, it may be that your email address is incorrect and we can't contact you.
