Early years settings across the country marked World Book Day on 4 March.
At Bright Horizons’ Guildford Day Nursery and Pre-school at the University of Surrey, its Forest Park Bracknell Day Nursery and Pre-school and its setting in Bromley, children dressed as their favourite book characters.
Meanwhile, a Kiddi Caru Nurseries survey of 750 parents showed 74 per cent look forward to the day.
