How did you feel after all three Noah's Ark nurseries achieved outstanding ratings in their Ofsted inspections?
We had three separate unannounced inspections in October and November. Although they're working to certain criteria they are all still looking for slightly different things. So it really did feel like a great achievement
What will you work on following the inspections?
Ofsted really couldn't come up with many recommendations for us, apart from some things that we are restricted in by our space. But even though we're quite confined to a small outdoor area, I want to work on incorporating more natural materials and come up with some creative ideas.
What is your favourite part of the job?
I love my job; I get to work with staff, parents and children and I'm responsible for setting the standard and helping to then improve it. I love getting alongside and encouraging staff. And the children brighten your day.
