Medusa Soujourn has purchased Beeston Nursery in Nottingham from the previous owner who had decided to retire. This is her third nursery, having opened a setting in Sutton Coldfield (Manchester) in 2009, and a second setting in Sandiacre (Nottingham) in 2021.

The acquisition of the Beeston Nursery was made possible due to funding from HSBC, which has also paid for an extra two members of staff on top of the existing 13 employees.

Medusa Sojourn, owner and founder of Ducklings Nursery, said, ‘As a local resident, it is heartening to be able to provide a safe, supportive environment for Beeston children. I’m extremely grateful to HSBC UK for its support throughout this process.’

Dominic Edgar, relationship manager at HSBC UK, added, ‘Ducklings Nursery has a reputation for providing an excellent service to the local community. This internal commercial business loan from HSBC UK will help the nursery grow significantly, allowing more parents and children to benefit.’
