
BAKING FOR BRITAIN
Children at Little Acorns Nursery in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire and Gomersal, West Yorkshire, along with Footsteps Nursery and Pre-School in Tamworth, Staffordshire, celebrated National Baking Week, 15-21 October.
CLASH OF THE CONKERS
St George's Preparatory School & Little Dragons Nursery in Boston, Lincolnshire organised a conker competition for the children in their care. Parents were also invited to take part in a conker fight.
SMILES ALL AROUND
Kiddi Caru in Exeter invited their local dentist to the nursery to discuss with the children the importance of healthy eating and how to brush their teeth properly.
CREEPY CRAWLY VISIT
Children at Busy Bodies Childcare Centre in Ludlow had the opportunity to meet a number of creepy crawlies when Zoolab visited the setting.
Along with a snake, millipede and cockroach, children were also able to hold and touch a rabbit and guinea pig.
ROMANIA REVEALED
Cherryvale Nursery in Aldershot, Surrey organised a Romanian week to teach the children about the country which one of the staff members comes from.
During the week, children learnt about Romanian culture, sung traditional songs, made Romanian flags and enjoyed Chiftele, a type of meatball, for lunch.
