Money and getting rich are the priorities for today's under-tens, a nationwide survey has found. An online questionnaire carried out in co-operation with schools by Luton First, a promotional consortium that sponsors National Kids' Day, also found that children's perceptions of wealth vary greatly, with some believing that 460 would make them rich and others quoting figures of up to 200m. In the 2,500 responses to the survey, fame, football, pop music and animals came after money as children's other priorities. But drunk people and smoking were cited as the two 'worst things in the world', followed by litter and graffiti. God topped the list for the most famous person in the world, narrowly beating Wayne Rooney, Jesus and David Beckham. When asked what rules they would make if they were King or Queen, the number one response was to ban lies. Children said they would also abolish drugs, guns and knives, and they would have more school holidays, pets that never die and free ice creams.
