The animal antics of Chimp and Zee by Laurence and Catherine Anholt (published by Frances Lincoln) scooped Gold in the Nestle Smarties Book Prize category for children aged five years and under last week. The silver medal went to Kipper's A to Z by Mick Inkpen (Hodder), and Five Little Fiends by Sarah Dyer (Bloomsbury) won the bronze.
