In brief...SCOPE conference

The disability organisation SCOPE is holding a confrence in London to explore how conductive education education can help the physical, intellectual, emotional and social skills development of people with nuerological conditions so that they can gain more independence. The conference, held jointly by Scoope, the International Peto Institute, takes place at Queen Mary and Westfield College from 12 to 14 September. Speakers include Lisa Woolfson, senior lecturer in educational psychology at the University of Strathclyde, and Seamus Hegarthy, director of the National Foundation for Education Research.
